Diamonds in the Ruff 's VIP Waitlist and Planned Breeding
PLEASE READ!
Most of my puppies are reserved before they’re even born. Families on my VIP Waitlist have placed a $500 deposit to secure their spot — picks are made in the order deposits are received (first deposit = first pick, and so on).
If I happen to have multiple moms due around the same time, VIP families may choose between litters. As each litter arrives, I go down the list and offer picks in order; if a family decides to wait for a future litter, the next family moves up. Families start choosing around 3-5+ weeks old.
*(I also reserve the right to keep first pick from any litter for my own program as part of preserving and improving the breed.)
After the VIP waitlist, I move down the general waitlist, which doesn’t require a deposit. If there are any puppies still available after both lists have chosen, they are then made available to the public.
(Please note: Even if you are on the VIP Waitlist, I cannot guarantee a specific gender, color, or timing. Mother Nature ultimately decides litter sizes, genders, and whether breedings take. Occasionally, a planned breeding may not result in pregnancy, or a litter may not have the desired gender available.
In those cases, your reservation simply rolls to the next available litter, which can sometimes add a wait of 2–6+ months.
*As a responsible preservation breeder, I do my best to plan carefully and keep families updated, but I never compromise the health or well-being of my dogs just to meet demand.
