Deposits
The Deposit for a Boston Terrier is $500.00
We began accepting deposits after puppies are born unless you are on the VIP waitlist. All deposits are non-refundable, you may forfeit your deposit for a particular litter, and we will transfer your deposit to a future litter for up to 24 months. Puppies are to be paid in full by Seven (7) weeks of age! If you fail to pay in full by 7 weeks of age, you will lose your deposit, and they will be reposted for Adoption.
As a breeder, I prioritize myself and/or other show/performance prospect puppy placements.
Then, I give the next priority to the order I received the deposits, and families on the waitlist. Ex. 1st pick, 2nd, 3rd... Males and then 1st pick, 2nd, 3rd... Females. All wait lister will have 72 hours to respond if they want a puppy from said litter if no response after 72 hours I will make my way down the list
Our Boston Terrier Puppies are chosen at around 6 weeks old, sometimes sooner.
Our Boston Terrier Puppies leave for their new homes at 8-9 weeks.
For Our Doberman Puppies, we temperament test them at 7-8 weeks old and match the pup with the families. You can pick color/gender and between puppies if they have the temperament that is the best fit for your family/needs.
( We do not want to place a high-drive pup with a family that wants a family pet and vice versa we do not want to match a family that wants to do protection with a lower-drive pup. We take this very seriously for the dogs' and families' best interests. )
Our Doberman puppies leave for their new homes around 9-12-/+ weeks old.
General Waitlist
You can be added to Our General Waitlist after you fill out our puppy application. There is no deposit to be added. After The VIP List makes their choices, I go down the general waitlist and notify you if there's any availability.
VIP Waiting List
This means after you fill out a puppy application and are approved, we will accept a $500 deposit from you to be notified and picked from new litters before the general public. VIP Waitlist Families are first come, first serve, so if you are the first to be put on the list, you will be 1st to choose from the puppies. If you are 2nd on the list, then you have 2nd choice, etc...
However, we always reserve the right to 1st pick of any litter we produce.
We will send you a notification via Gooddog/email or give you a courtesy call/text to let you know we have a new litter. If you pass or no response within 72 hours, then the next person in line will have the option of choosing their pick, and so on. If you pass, you will still have your spot for choice on the next litter or be moved up a spot depending on the upcoming litter.
Your VIP deposit will expire two years from the date of deposit, so you will be able to see upcoming litters first until you find the perfect puppy. The deposit will go towards the puppy's purchase price and be deducted from your total and the remaining balance by 7 weeks old.
Strict Spay/Neuter Contract
All of our puppies are sold on a strict spay and neuter contract.
I will rarely give full Breeding rights!
Please Call for more info on Breeding rights, it's a HUGE responsibility and way more than just putting two dogs together.
Shipping
We do have a flight Nanny and ground transport for shipping $600-$1000+ at your expense.
We highly recommend you fly to our Airport DEN -(Denver International Airport) and we will meet you there with the puppy and a flight bag included this can save you 100s $$$ as prices have gone way up with flight nannies.

In the world of breeding, Mother Nature has the final say, and planned breedings don't always go as expected. Dogs generally go into heat every six months, followed by a nine-week pregnancy. After birth, puppies stay with their mother for eight weeks before they can go to their new homes. However, not all breedings result in pregnancy, and timing can vary.
If a planned breeding does not take, your deposit will automatically transfer to the next successful planned breeding. We appreciate your understanding as we work with nature's timeline to provide you with a happy, healthy puppy
Acknowledgment and Agreement
By submitting this application, I certify that the above information is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that completing this application does not guarantee the placement of a puppy. Diamonds In the Ruff Boston Terriers reserves the right to refuse any applicant if it is determined that the placement would not be in the best interest of the puppy or the applicant.
We only have AKC standard Colors:
For Boston Terriers, we only have Black brindle/white and at times we have black/white and brindle/white.
We do NOT have or breed "colored" Boston Terriers. Our Boston's range from 12-22 lbs. Never over 25lbs!
*All dates above can vary from 1-4+ months as we can't control Mother Nature.
Go to the "INFO" Page for more Info and Prices, and then Please Fill out our Puppy Application if Interested.
*ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IF THE PUPPY OF YOUR CHOICE IS NOT AVAILABLE OR IF THE PLANNED PREGNANCY DOES NOT OCCUR YOUR DEPOSIT WILL TRANSFER TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE LITTER OF YOUR CHOICE.
POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $3500+.
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. Your reputable breeders are so overpriced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition, you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average cost $4500 and up)and a male(average cost $4500 and up) or semen (average $2000-$2500 and up). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, which averages about $800+ per dog. Let's not forget progesterone testings, inseminations, ultrasounds, x-rays, semen collections, semen analysis, potentially semen overnight shipping, and so on ($1500+). Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (minimal $250 per month) Oh, don’t forget monthly prevention, annual vet visits, and any other additional vet visits.
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $1200 you can raise a litter and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you will pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 10 weeks to help with delivery and care. ( a million loads of laundry) Another 4+ weeks to monitor mom and puppies.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Fourteen weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: Plus You will need to be available for puppy families to call you 24/7 with a worry or concern no matter the age. You Must also be ready to take back the puppy/dog at any age if the family has an unforeseen emergency.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do progesterone testing($110/ test ) & C-section($2500-$5000+) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed ($800+).
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, puppy pads, incubator, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, heating lamp, whelping box, puppy pen, blankets, toys, bowls, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $5000+ you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us, there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dog's side caring for them. It is a no-break commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a reputable person, you aren’t only purchasing the puppy but also: knowledge, support, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...
**Plus the cost of lifetime support to the puppy owners…
These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg (best case scenario!!!) as a reputable breeder who takes on this journey full time!
Very well said…
